Announcing online workshop on
'Writing a successful Research Proposal'
The official launch of the OWSD Cameroon Chapter took place December 17th – 18th, 2019. The event was presided by the Rector of the University of Yaounde I, Prof Maurice SOSO, in the presence of the OWSD President Prof Jennifer Thomson and Prof Uphie Chinje Melo, Rector of the University of Ngaoundere.
The event brought together leading female scientists in and out of Cameroon, graduate and secondary school students in Science & Technology, entrepreneurs, government and diplomatic missions.
OWSD-CAM has as main goal to promote activities that improve female participation in science and technology in Cameroon. It is within this context and as part of its Official Launching Ceremony scheduled for 17-18 December 2019 at the Congress Hall in Yaoundé that OWSD-CAM is announcing the call for applications for its first ever Science and Technology Competition for secondary and high school students. The OWSD-CAM Science and Technology Competition recognizes outstanding students for their creative and innovative project in science and technology.
