Women in STEM, Contribution of Research and Innovative Technologies for the Sustainable Development of Cameroon

All submitted abstracts should fall under the one of the following sub-themes:

Sub-theme one:

 

  • Biological Systems, Medical and Health Sciences

  • Chemical and Engineering Sciences

  • Geophysics and Earth Sciences

  • Agricultural Sciences

  • Mathematical and Physical Sciences

 

Sub-theme two:

 

  • Strategies to advance research in STEM fields

  • Human capacity development by promoting women in STEM

  • Women mainstreaming in STEM in Africa: changes of paradigms

 

Abstracts should be no more than 300 words. Abstracts  can be prepared using this template and should be submitted in a word document to owsdcam@gmail.com

Posters can be prepared using this template 

A limited number of travel grants will be provided to participants within Cameroon (outside of Yaoundé) on a competitive basis.

 

One travel grant will be awarded to a female Cameroonian graduate student who is currently carrying out relevant research in a developing country

​

Eligibility: The applicant must

​

  • submit an abstract

  • be presenting author

  • submit a personal statement (less than 500 words) and a submit a short CV in the grant application form

  • Fill the grant application form below before the deadline
